50th Parallel Estate – truly one of North Americas exemplary destination wineries – is set in the heart of Okanagan Wine Country in British Columbia. The Estate is a scenic 61-acre site on the shore of Lake Okanagan boasting panoramic lake and mountain views and is only 15 minutes from the Kelowna International Airport. 

 

Proprietors Curtis Krouzel and Sheri-Lee Turner-Krouzel have built the Estate from scratch with shovels, tractors, and an amazing team.  They are very proud to welcome you to try the premium internationally awarded wine portfolio which is focussed on Pinot Noir and aromatic white wines.  

 

Awarded coveted design awards for Best Building and Best Winery in 2018 for the interior of British Columbia, 50thParallel Estate demonstrates how architecture can reflect the importance of a name, and a place.  The prominent building site lines and materials were carefully selected to subliminally influence one’s senses to suggest that all is “in parallel” – while integrating seamlessly into the breathtaking landscape.  

 

Enjoy an incredible culinary experience while surrounded by expansive views and awe-inspiring architecture at BLOCK ONE, 50thParallel’s regional seasonal restaurant.  The unique menu changes seasonally and focuses on farm to table fare made with many ingredients grown right at the Estate in the organic culinary gardens.  

 

50th Parallel Estate is also one of North America’s most beautiful special event locations.  The stunning new glass event center serves as a home to corporate functions, conferences, weddings and wine-focused events.  The ‘Infinity Pad’ is a breathtaking plateau at the top of the Estate that features a private 3,000 square foot concrete event venue that visually drops into the vineyards and lake below.  The new ‘Transparent’ tasting room provides 360-degree views of the Estate and Lake Okanagan.  Tastings are open to the public year-round, and private tours can be arranged by contacting the tasting room.
